The German people battled for many decades with this question – what to do with the buildings? Preserve them and educate, or pull down every brick. They have gone with the latter. They certainly aren’t glorified in any way, as they shouldn’t be, but stand as a reminder to what happened here
History is important. We shouldn’t forget what happened here.
