28th July 2021 North Shields – Goldfinches and Ferries

Before I started work this morning, I spotted that the large weed in the garden (a sore subject at the moment) had attracted a group of goldfinches and hedge sparrows, happily plucking out the seeds. I must learn what the best setting are for this type of photography, as there were a lot out of focus.

In the late afternoon, I went out to see a cruse ship leave the Tyne, but as I was pressed for time and it was late, I only captured the departure of the DFDS ferry.
