A brighter day today for the picture-postcard town of San Gimignano.
This town is my favourite place in Tuscany. not the grandest, not the most impressive, but the most Tuscan place we visit…in my opinion.
We were tired after the journey so spent some peaceful time in the arcaded hall on the Piazza del Duomo, enjoying a gelato (which I queued up for)!
