We had intended to have a rest day today, but after a good sleep, we felt up to the visit of these too local cities.
After a quick nip past the cathedral and leaning tower, we headed along our favourite arcaded street in Pisa. An overcast day, the temperature was perfect for walking around the city, an we walked along the River Arno enjoying the fabulous architecture.
We’ve walked the walls of Lucca many times, so we decided to take the time to explore the city in more detail this time.
Loved all of the fabulous food shops and restaurants lining the streets, and I spent time photographing more detail having plenty shots of the main sights.
