2nd November 2021 North Shields – The Nights Draw In

The first walk for a week because of poor weather. The clocks changed on Sunday so there’s not much light left once I finish work.

Luckily today the weather has been fine, so off we went for our usual walk.

The fish quay was busy, with plenty of boats in and the gulls enjoying feeding on the scraps.

At Northumberland Park we fed the ducks for the first time this year. They were very hungry, and even the moorhens and herring gulls were joining in. Very unusual. We’ll seed them regularly from here on in.

A lovely light bathed the riverside on our walk back. A lovely time of the day.
