I arranged to have lunch with my mam and sister in Sunderland, and knowing what the metro is like, I set out early. It was on time, so I had a walk around to revisit family places.
It was very humid, and obviously dying to rain, but it didn’t, and the atmosphere hung heavy.
I walked over the Wearmouth bridge, going down the stairs down to the river and along to near the National Glass Centre. Back up and along to record what is left of the Crowtree Leisure Centre, as one day this no doubt will disappear. Record it now, while you can, I’ve learned that the hard way.
