A quick walk down to ferry mews to take another look at the Kittiwakes. The nesting season is still in full swing and the noise and mess is pretty overpowering. I notes in May that they were waiting in vain to nest because of the netting. How wrong I was. They have simply nested around it, finding new places, including on the mews, causing more of a nuisance than before the netting.
Along at Royal Quays, the Marella Explorer II was back to pick up the next lot of mini-cruisers.
