On a beautiful sunny day we returned to Aydon castle to enjoy the peaceful countryside.
After a brief look around the house, we headed off into the woods to see how things were doing. Lovely to see so much green and the dappled light shining through the canopy left beautiful patterns on the ground.
At the stream we decided to take a different path which took us up to a large pasture. The numerous sheep were rather surprised to see us but we kept our distance and they soon settled. A good opportunity for some lovely landscape shots.
