Day 2 of our visit to the Isle of Wight took us to the simply amazing Osborne, favoured home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. This place is simply stunning. From the opulent house to the extensive grounds, I found this a prefect place, and certainly somewhere I could live! We had lunch on Osborne beach, looking out across the Solent. A wonderful visit.
On the afternoon, we visited Whippingham church. I must say that I found the interior disappointing, but as you know, I often find churchyards tell more about the people than the churches they worshipped in.
