6th June 2021 Alum Bay & Yarmouth – Descending Fog & Bright Sunshine

View all photography for this entry

This morning we travelled to Alum Bay to see the famous sands and of course the Needles.

Although it was a fine day, unfortunately fog was obscuring the needles which was a great disappointment. Michael & Marilyn took us back to see them and we nearly suffered the same fate! Alum Bay however was clear so we could see the large variety of coloured sands the bay is famous for.

In the afternoon, we were off to sunny Yarmouth. A lovely walk along the coast and a return to see the famous wooden pier. A good start the the holiday.
