The usual North Shields/Tynemouth circuit today.
On the path to Northumberland Park, next to the meadow stands a large buddlea bush. Today, there were lots of comma butterflied beefing on it. Was surprised to see so many at this time of the year. Maybe the sources of nectar are dwindling.
