A trip to Woodhorn and the QEII Country park in the sunshine today.
Woodhorn was nice and quiet, always a bonus as it allows you to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, very different to it’s days as a working mine.
At QEII country park there were lots of birds, among them mute swans and greylag and Canada geese. Also lots of dragonflies. Beautiful.
