The heavier rain has turned into light (but persistent) drizzle by the time we reached Betws-y-Coed.
This is a lovely town, nestled in the countryside and the gateway to Snowdonia National Park.
The river Llugwy was very swollen, crashing through the rocks and under the bridge, on it’s way to join the river Conwy.
