24th December 2022 Yorkshire Dales – Haworth, Skipton & Grassington

We awoke on Christmas Eve to much better weather.

A lovely surprise today was our first visit was to Haworth. I have always wanted to visit here and it was just how I imagined. The high street was lit by the low son which glinted off the cobbles. Magical.

The off to Skipton. Just a fleeting visit but we had time to grab a pork pie from our favourite shop and take a walk along the canal.

The last call was at Grassington. This is a small village and we have been here before, so decided to follow the little stone path down the hill to explore.

The path led to the river Wharfe and the spectacular Linton falls. The river was swollen after all of the rain and was crashing over the weir and falls. A spectacular sight that most people don’t know about (at least they didn’t on our c
