Plenty of bird action in Northumberland Park. From a hole in a tree, a great spotted woodpecker chick was popping it’s head out surveying the new world. In the pond, the mallard ducks were enjoying washing, dipping under the water then flapping their wings. Just before the steps, a colorful bullfinch was eating seeds from a plant.
