So the weather has been fantastic for April, and suffering as I am from working from home fatigue and in need of lowering the blood pressure, I’m going on daily walks after work.
After a wet day yesterday, the sun was shining today, so I took the opportunity to get dropped off in Tynemouth and walk back along the Tyne. I went to see the nesting kittywakes on the cliffs below Tynemouth Priory, but no sign of the sand martins. The walk back was very quiet for a change, and the tide was again very high, with large swell causing crashing waves to spray passers by.
