Old St Mary’s Sunday School, and Truro Cathedral, Old Bridge Street, Truro, Cornwall.

Former Sunday school. 1836 datestone. Rubble with granite
dressings, rendered over the rubble to street elevation. Dry
Delabole slate roof with coped gable ends. Rectangular plan.
Tudor-Gothic style. 2 storeys; 1-window-range street front
gable end. Plinth, central chamfered square-headed doorway
with hoodmould, pair of planked doors; inscribed panel above
doorway: “St Mary’s Sunday School A.D. 1836”; string course
and chamfered window opening with hoodmould to wooden hollow
chamfered cross window. 3-window range. Side walls have window
openings without hoodmoulds to 3-light wooden mullioned
windows. INTERIOR not inspected.
