A landscape with the sun setting behind a castle. In the middle ground are a sailing boat, a rowing boat, and cattle watering. More boats are visible in the background, and in front of the castle.
Provenance: Armstrong collection. Transferred by the Treasury to The National Trust in 1977 via the National Land Fund, aided by 3rd Baron Armstrong of Bamburgh and Cragside (1919 – 1987).
