Robertsons of Inshes Mausoleum

Robertsons of Inshes Mausoleum in the grounds of the Old High Church, Inverness.

The mausoleum dates from 1664 and is claimed to be a unique specimen of the 17th Century Scottish Decorative masonry. Over the doorway the Latin inscription reads that there is buried Mary Purvis, mother of Janet Sinclair, wife of John Robertson of Inshes.
