A three-quarter length portrait of a young woman, seated, facing, in a landscape, wearing an amber coloured dress and blue cloak. A label in 19th century ink on paper label now attached to front of picture reads: Probably Elizabeth 2nd da. of Sir William Blackett, Bart. m. William Marshall.
Provenance: Given with the property to the National Trust in 1941 by Sir Charles Philips Trevelyan, 3rd Bt (1870-1958)
