We’ve been meaning to join the National Trust for a while. It was pointless during the lockdown years, but with the good weather returning, it was time to join and do some exploring.
We last visited Seaton Delaval Hall a few years ago, on a National Heritage Day. The house isn’t far from where we live so was a good place to start with our membership.
Good to see the renovation off the west wing is now complete, and I was very impressed by the paintings on show, including a Kneller and Reynolds.
It was very busy with families, so we will return at a quieter time to enjoy the atmosphere.
