The weather was due to change around lunchtime so we set off early to Aydon Castle. Turns out we had the house to ourselves for a short time, it was so quiet.
In the woods the wild garlic was in full blood, with the beautiful small that accompanies them.
In the top field we found a lot of ewes with their lambs. Although obviously wary, they did come quite close and I got a few decent shots.
We left as the clouds gathered but still made it back to North Shields with the roof down on the car.
