We just set out for the usual walk through North Shields an Tynemouth today, totally forgetting that that the annual Mouth of The Tyne Festival was on.
As well as the music festival held in the priory grounds, this weekend there was plenty of street entertainment on Front Street to enjoy.
Rascally Diner – a hilarious mad dining experience for the children
Boom Circus – acrobats and aerial acts with lots of comedy and tumbled thrown in
Urban Oasis – overgrown insects prowling the streets to the delight of everyone
We walked back through the park and along Tyne street, just on time to see vessel Klima making it’s way up the Tyne.
A fantastic day in the sunshine!
