The usual North Shields/Tynemouth circuit today.
Of interest was plenty of bird like in Northumberland Park. Around the pond the gunnera is reaching for the sky, soon it;’s massive fronds will cover the bank.
On the beach a pair of herring gulls were getting very intimate, just doing what birds do.
At the Fish Quay, cormorants and gulls were enjoying the spring sunshine.
