16th January 2022 Wylam – Wild Birds & Tame Horses

A lovely sunny day in Wylam. The heron was in his usual spot on the Tyne. Never actually seen it catch a fish though? Along the Tyne there were robins and great tits aplenty. Nice to see these in the winter and a reminder that spring will be here before we know it.

In the allotments, the woodpile has gone to make way for a summerhouse, but the characters who one guarded it has been lined up, maybe waiting for the new one.

A new fence has been put up along the field, probably to keep the horses safe. Lovely to see them again.
