We set off from Newcastle for our traditional November trip. This time we were returning to Argyle and Bute and the Claymore hotel in Arrochar, Scotland.
We stopped at Moffat on the way up, a lovely town in Dumfries and Galloway. The weather was pretty appalling, and after a look around the very interesting old cemetery, we took refuge in a very friendly coffee shop to warm up again.
Then off we pressed to the Claymore in time for our evening meal.
