Laurie was keen to return to Wylam today so off we set in the early autumn sun in the Spider.
No sign of the seal from the bridge, but the spiders had been busy weaving their webs between the bars.
In the allotments everything was in full bloom, but lots of ripe pumpkins and colourful flowers. Some lovely photo opportunities.
