The Armada Memorial on the Hoe, Plymouth

The work has an octagonal stepped base to a square panelled plinth with entablature, ramped into a tall panelled chest with entablature and further ramped into an entablature of the base for the bronze of Britannia with a lion. The front has a crowned shield with drapes, and a panel depicting the Armada. Above there is a wreathed medallion with the head of the Spanish admiral, Sedonia. There is a low perimeter fence with granite plinth and chains between turned cast-iron stanchions.
