15th June 2021 Woodhorn – Queen Elizabeth II Country Park

We’ve been past the turn-off for this country park many time on the way to Drurudge Bay, but it’s always looked super busy at weekends.

Being a weekday, it was lovely and quiet so we decided to go for a walk around the lake.

Lots of water fowl with young, so lovely to see, all life thriving in the spring breeze.

Some swans were flying overhead, something that surprisingly I’ve never seen.

Before heading home, we went to Druridge Bay Country Park to see yet more cygnets. A beautiful day.
