We both went for a walk along to the Royal Quays Marina today. On the cascade, a grey heron was waiting patiently for fish on the cascade, accompanied by moorhens, herring gulls and pigeons. In the marina the swans are still tending to the nest. The common terns are thriving on their nesting island, and I managed at last to get a couple of shots. A bullfinch on the way home made for a very successful walk.
