Todays walk took in a very busy Tyne. As I walked along Tyne Street I could see two ships leaving the mouth of the Tyne with two tugs in attendance. The ships were the a B G Freight Line container vessel and the Sanderling Ace car carrier.

In Northumberland Park, the moorhens had a new brood, 6 rather ugly but colourful day or so old chicks. I will follow their growth, and hope some survive to adulthood.
