Coble Dean is a lovely linear park at Royal Quays, North Shields.
A stream leads into a lake and then down a cascade, and is home to varied wildlife.
We often walk along to the park, past Smith’s Dock and the Royal Quays Marina.
Today, there were pigeons, moorhens, mallards, a gadwall and the odd rat.
The sun was shining and the air warm, and the blossom on the trees was welcoming spring.
