27th February 2021 North Shields – Sunshine, Wild Flowers and the Pet Cemetery

After my walk yesterday (here) I noticed a mark on my sensor which spoiled some of my landscape photos. Not having the time to sort, I used my iPhone only on my walk today.

The weather was glorious, and I had heard that there was an abundance of spring flowers in Northumberland Park, so this is where I headed.

There is an old pet cemetery in the park, hidden away from the main drag, and it is actually a lovely place to visit. The headstones are so touching and it is so peaceful.

The snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils were in full bloom among the graves. Really beautiful and touching (one the kids that were being encouraged to scream by their parents had moved on).
