Lockdown continues, and with doctors orders to get more exercise and the weather cold but clear, I headed on the usual walk around North Shields.
A trawler was leaving the river as I walked along Tyne street so managed to get a couple of nice shots.
In Northumberland Park, the birds were back, and I snapped the water rail and moorhens. The resident rat was taking a swim too.
On the way out, I spotted a little wren, the UK’s smallest bird.
