29th November 2020 North Shields – Birds, Snowdogs, squirrels and fog on the Tyne

View all photography for this entry

Well, it’s the last weekend on November and boy does the weather know it. A grey, murky day with fog and thick cloud.

Visibility was low on the Tyne, and the seagulls were sticking close to shore, along with the many crows.

This was the usual walk along the Tyne along to Tynemouth and back through Northumberland Park.

A lovely addition in time for Christmas is the “Walking with the Snowman trail, a collection of Snowman and Snowdog figures across North Tyneside (more details here). So nice to see some colour on such a grey day.

In Northumberland Park, there were plenty of mallards on the pond and we even got to glimpse a couple of grey squirrels. More grey!!!!!
