The last time we were at Bowes museum to see the Norman Cornish exhibition, we weren’t aware that there was also a Pre-Raphaelite exhibition on too. It was in the exhibition space on the fist-floor, the only room we didn’t go in to, and I was pretty gutted when I found out to be honest.
Luckily, I managed to get there the day before it closed for good. It was due to finish 8/11 but due to lockdown, 4/11 is the last day. It was well worth seeing. The exhibits were beautiful, and so well curated and lit. Simply stunning.
We took a short walk into Barnard Castle after, but didn’t stay long as the weather and night were closing in. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we did.
