Just a short walk today along the quayside and through Northumberland Park.
On the Tyne there was a sailing boat, making it’s way towards the sea. There’s always something to see on the river. The shipbuilding may be long gone, but it can be surprisingly busy at times.
In Northumberland Park, a mallard duck was happily alternating between eating and drinking, in an amusing rhythmic motion.
